A student who survived two car crashes, including one that left her with a broken back and brain bleed, has turned her traumatic experiences into a positive outcome by becoming a paramedic. Kacey Jones, dubbed the ‘unluckiest student ever’, was first involved in a car accident in June 2021 in Nottingham, where she sustained serious injuries. Despite facing gruelling spinal surgery and months of recovery, Kacey decided to pursue a Paramedic Sciences degree at the University of East Anglia, starting just two weeks after relearning to walk.
