In a heartfelt tribute, Dane Knight, the partner of Alice Webb, the first woman in the UK to pass away following a Brazilian Bum Lift procedure, expressed gratitude for the support received. Alice Webb, a 33-year-old mum-of-five, tragically died at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after falling ill. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with her death which occurred after a “cosmetic procedure”.
Dane Knight took to social media to thank friends and family for their kindness during their time of need. He asked for respect and urged people not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding Alice Webb’s death, especially around their “extremely vulnerable” daughters. Acknowledging the outpouring of support, Dane emphasised the importance of safeguarding his children from unnecessary queries and adult conversations.
Unlike surgical procedures, liquid Brazilian Bum Lifts involve injecting hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers into the buttocks. Alice, who worked as an advanced aesthetic practitioner at Crystal Clear in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, sadly passed away after complications from the procedure.
Following Alice’s untimely death, a Go Fund Me page was set up by a friend to support Dane and their five children during this difficult time. The page highlighted Alice’s dedication to her clients and described her as a talented professional who always strived to improve her skills.
Gloucestershire Police launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of two individuals on suspicion of manslaughter in relation to Alice’s demise. The arrests were made following a report from the ambulance service regarding a woman who became unwell after a cosmetic procedure. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the Major Crime Investigation Team.
