A lorry driver who fell more than 60 feet from a motorway bridge will be discharged from the hospital with minor injuries, as confirmed by the police. The incident occurred when the heavy goods vehicle left the northbound carriageway of the M6 at the Thelwall Viaduct in Cheshire around 7 pm on Monday. Despite the dramatic crash captured on dashcam footage, the driver, a 56-year-old man, is fortunate to have not sustained life-changing or life-threatening injuries. The police described it as “remarkable” that no serious harm was caused by the fall.
