Natural Resources Wales has issued a warning on its website concerning the River Ritec in the Salterns area of Tenby. It has explained that, due to restrictions at the tidal outfall, river levels are likely to remain high for five days, and are expected to rise slightly as each high tide arrives. Flooding of low level land and roads is expected as a result.
In a warning concerning rivers in South Pembrokeshire, Natural Resources Wales has written on its website: “Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. Flooding is possible due to expected high tides. Due to restrictions at the tidal outfall, river levels in the River Ritec in the Salterns area of Tenby are likely to remain high for five days. You may notice river levels rising slightly as each high tide arrives. We will continue to monitor the situation.”
