As the chair-elect of the committee until its formation, Ms Jones aims to incorporate fresh ideas from new MPs. She also mentioned her plans to focus her Private Member’s Bill on an animal welfare issue, drawing from her past experience in the shadow Defra team. The prison’s spokesperson stated that significant efforts have been made at Parc to effect positive changes after the tragic deaths that occurred earlier this year.
