In another store in Hastings, East Sussex, an apostrophe was mistakenly misplaced in the town’s name, much to the dismay of locals.
In response to the previous error, a customer, Jo Harbrd, expressed her shock upon seeing a sign that incorrectly read, “Serving Hasting’s shoppers a little better every day,” instead of “‘Hastings’.” Following Jo’s feedback, Tesco acknowledged the mistake and assured her that they would take the necessary steps to rectify the error promptly.
