Tributes have poured in following the passing of a beloved headteacher, Kerry Waters, from Pontnewydd Primary in Cwmbran, Wales. Kerry had dedicated 16 years of service to the school and was described as an integral part of the community. Councilor Richard Clark expressed deep sorrow over the loss, highlighting Kerry’s immense impact on the school and the lives of those around him.
Councillor Clark announced that both the Educational Psychology Service and Schools Counselling Service would be available to provide support to the students and staff in the coming days and weeks. The whole community, including Torfaen MP Nick Thomas-Symonds, offered condolences to Kerry’s family, colleagues, and the students at Pontnewydd Primary.
