In a recent incident, Gwent Police confirmed that a 12-year-old girl was mauled by an XL Bully breed dog in Nantyglo, Brynmawr. The attack, which resulted in severe arm injuries for the girl, took place at The Crescent on Monday, October 7. Responding officers rushed to the scene, and the girl was taken to the hospital for treatment. The XL Bully responsible for the attack was euthanised by a vet. A 37-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman from the Brynmawr area were arrested for owning or possessing a dog bred for fighting and owning or possessing a dangerous dog. They are currently in police custody.
