Sara Davies credits one diet with her dramatic weight loss

Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies has revealed the secret to her impressive weight loss, which caught the attention of fans over the weekend. The former Strictly dancer showcased her remarkable transformation when she appeared in the audience on the show, having shed three dress sizes from a 16 to a 12, all thanks to a particular diet.

In an interview with The Sun, Sara shared that she now kickstarts each meal with fibre-rich foods like broccoli or a side salad to create a ‘plug’ in her stomach. This technique helps regulate her appetite and improve digestion, making a significant difference in how she manages her diet. The entrepreneur aimed to reach her 40th birthday in April feeling the fittest she has been in a decade.

Sara expressed her delight at no longer needing to squeeze into Spanx, highlighting the joy of being able to wear a dress without extra layers underneath. Embracing the Fibre First method, she incorporates Slimshotz, a fibre-rich drink, for breakfast and opts for high-fibre pasta and noodles to ensure she consumes enough fibre throughout the day.

Born in County Durham in 1984, Sara Davies is best known for founding Crafter’s Companion, a successful company specialising in crafting products. Her entrepreneurial ventures extend to her role as a Dragon on the BBC business show Dragons’ Den, where she became one of the youngest investors in 2019, leveraging her expertise in product development and retail.

In addition to her business acumen, Sara also ventured into television through her participation in the popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. Her commitment to health and well-being, as evidenced by her weight loss journey, serves as an inspirational example to her fans and followers.
