A man has been taken to the hospital with “potentially life-changing” injuries after being hit by a car in Mumbles. The incident occurred during the early hours of the bank holiday Monday on Mumbles Road. Police are on the scene and have confirmed that a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital following the collision involving a white Kia Rio.

A portion of Mumbles Road remains partially closed on Tuesday, with drivers advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. South Wales Police stated, “We are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a driver and a pedestrian… Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.”
The collision occurred outside the Co-Op in Mumbles, with the driver hitting the pedestrian just before 1.10 am. The injured man’s injuries are believed to be potentially life-changing.
