Oasis have excited fans by announcing a massive UK tour scheduled for next summer. The famed Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, shared the news on social media, revealing plans to perform in various locations including London, Manchester, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. The duo posted a tweet stating, “This is it, this is happening. Tickets on sale this Saturday 31st August (8AM IST /9AM BST).”
The tour dates include shows at Cardiff Principality Stadium on 4th and 5th July, Manchester Heaton Park on 11, 12, 19, and 20th July, London Wembley Stadium on 25th and 26th July, as well as 2nd and 3rd August. Additionally, they will be appearing at Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 8th and 9th August, with their final gigs at Dublin Croke Park on 16th and 17th August.
Fans were given a hint of the tour announcement when the brothers posted a cryptic message last week, generating massive anticipation among followers. This reunion marks a significant moment as it is the first time the brothers have come together since Noel parted ways with the band 15 years ago due to conflicts with Liam. Despite their past differences, the siblings seem to have reconciled as they recently collaborated for a photoshoot.
The announcement has brought immense joy to fans, especially after Liam performed Oasis’ iconic 1994 album, Definitely Maybe, at Reading Festival last year and hinted at a potential reunion. The Gallagher brothers’ decision to embark on this tour is undoubtedly a momentous occasion for music enthusiasts eagerly awaiting their comeback.
