A new policy governing events and filming in Neath Port Talbot has been approved by the local council after a comprehensive review. This policy, endorsed during a cabinet meeting in August 2024, aims to streamline the organisation of events and festivals in the area. The events policy forms part of the broader Neath Port Talbot Council Cultural Strategy, which was recently launched alongside the council’s Heritage Strategy and Destination Management Plan. The unanimous approval of the policy by council members signifies a significant step towards its full implementation by spring 2025.
