A person has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash in north Wales. Emergency services were called to the A541 at Rhydymwyn near Mold in Flintshire following a crash on Tuesday afternoon, September 10. North Wales Police confirmed their attendance before the road reopened on Wednesday morning. The Welsh Ambulance Service reported responding to a road traffic collision, dispatching an emergency ambulance, a duty operational manager, and a Cymru high acuity response unit paramedic to the scene. Advanced critical care support was provided by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service using two Wales Air Ambulance charity helicopters. One person was flown to hospital for treatment.
