Pearl’s dolphin-friendly whine can last for extended periods, prompting the couple to develop a routine to prevent the dolphins from following them endlessly.
As Mark plans for retirement, he aims to secure a mooring in Pwllheli for a larger vessel to offer dolphin-watching excursions with Pearl. The dog’s unique talent has captivated many, with some viewers comparing her to diving guides in the Red Sea who use whistles to attract dolphins.
Mark’s YouTube channel, VW Adventure, showcases Pearl’s adventures, highlighting her extraordinary ability to communicate with dolphins. As the Black Pearl from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies was famed for being hard to catch, it seems North Wales has its own ‘Black Pearl’ with a remarkable skill that sets her apart.
