Previously, fees for a 10kg check-in bag ranged from £11.99 to £35.99, depending on when it was added. Now, the updated ‘fees’ list on Ryanair’s website shows costs between £9.49 and £44.99. Although some passengers might pay slightly less, those at the higher end face a £15 increase. Adding a 20kg check-in bag post-booking has become cheaper for some travellers, ranging from £39.99 to £59.99.
However, Ryanair has not responded to queries regarding these pricing changes. Alongside baggage fees, the airline has also raised prices for Priority boarding upgrades. Upgrades that used to range from £20 to £38 now cost between £20 and £60.
