A dog tragically died after falling into a ravine while on a walk at a Welsh beauty spot. The incident occurred at the Torrent Walk just outside Dolgellau in Wales. Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team responded to the scene on Sunday, August 25, where three dogs had fallen into the ravine. Rescuers were able to save two of the dogs using ropes, but unfortunately, the third dog did not survive the fall.
The Torrent Walk, situated on the outskirts of Dolgellau in Gwynedd, offers views of the Clywedog River as it flows down the gorge. The path winds under a woodland canopy, alongside the river, and past remnants of industrial sites. This popular spot attracts many visitors for its natural beauty and picturesque scenery.
During the rescue operation, the first dog was stranded on a ledge while the second was near a pool. The team from Aberdyfi Search and Rescue successfully retrieved the two dogs from precarious positions. Tragically, despite their efforts, the third dog succumbed to the fall.
