Rapper Fatman Scoop dies after collapsing on stage

US rapper Fatman Scoop tragically passed away after collapsing on stage during a performance in Connecticut. The 53-year-old artist fell to the floor while engaging with the crowd after climbing into the DJ booth shirtless at a gig in Hamden. Caught on camera, he was attempting to hype up the audience before losing consciousness while saying, “let’s make some noise.” Witnesses reported that Fatman Scoop, real name Isaac Freeman III, collapsed after performing his popular track Be Faithful. Despite his collapse, the show continued with DJ Binky B and other performers carrying on to allow medical services time to respond.

An attendee named John Arnold witnessed the incident and shared, “He was performing on stage well and after he performed his song Be Faithful, he removed his shirt and went behind the DJ booth and fell while speaking.” Although CPR was administered before he was rushed to a local hospital, Fatman Scoop’s manager later confirmed his death. Hamden mayor Lauren Garrett mentioned that he had been taken to the hospital by ambulance and urged people to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.

Fatman Scoop had recently been in the UK, hosting a festival in Bristol earlier that summer. His passing has left fans and the music industry in shock as tributes pour in for the respected rapper. As news of his death spreads, the world mourns the loss of a talented artist who made a significant impact on the music scene.
