The encampment has centred around the Wilson and Bay Coffee Club, causing the coffee shop to lose customers and revenue due to the limited space left for parking.
Newport council is in collaboration with Gwent Police to address the situation promptly. Pictures from the viewpoint portray the disruption caused by several caravans and vans occupying the area.
