Excitement pulsed through her as she embarked on the overnight adventure to Alton Towers. The hotel’s enchanting decor immediately captivated her, with a steampunk theme adorning the room, complete with faux pipes and intricate Victorian-inspired patterns. The presence of a giant teddy bear on the bed added a delightful touch of charm.
After settling in, Charlotte kept her Friday evening low-key with a Domino’s dinner to gear up for the theme park exploration the following day. The next morning, she fuelled up with a hearty breakfast buffet, brimming with sausages, bacon, fruits, and pastries. Energised, she ventured into the theme park, exuding Oktoberfest vibes with German street food aromas lingering in the air. The festive setting set the stage for a day filled with exhilarating rides.
Charlotte’s theme park journey commenced with a ride on the Wicker Man, known for its wooden track and fiery theme, fostering an immersive experience. The adrenaline heightened as she braved the head-spinning inversions of the Smiler ride, leaving her wobbly yet invigorated. Oktoberfest indulgences followed, with a German (vegan) sausage feast that unfortunately made its presence felt during the thrilling Nemesis Reborn ride. Despite a moment of nausea, the ride’s intensity left her with a mix of adrenaline and amusement.
The Nemesis Reborn ride emerged as the highlight of the day, surpassing expectations with its speed, twists, and captivating theming.
