Jet2 Holidaymakers Warned ‘Don’t Book’ These Exact Seats if You Fall into One Category
Jet2 passengers have been advised to be cautious when selecting their seats for an upcoming flight. According to seatguru.com, seat 11A is flagged as one of the least desirable places to sit on a plane, mainly due to the lack of a window. Additionally, passengers on the budget carrier are urged to avoid rows 1-2 and 32-33 if they are sensitive to queues near the bathroom or the noise of flushing.
Furthermore, travellers in rows 1, 15, 17, and seats 2D, 2E, and 2F are instructed to stow their personal items in overhead lockers as there is no floor storage available in these areas. Jet2 also offers extra legroom seats situated towards the front and middle of the aircraft. These seats can be pre-booked during the reservation process or requested at check-in for a fee.
However, not everyone is eligible to sit in certain seats, particularly those designated as emergency exit seats. These seats are subject to safety regulations set by the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA). Passengers falling into categories such as children under 14 years, pregnant women, individuals with disabilities, those needing a seat belt extender, or anyone without a strong command of English are not permitted to sit in emergency exit seats due to safety reasons.
