Police in Rhondda Cynon Taf have launched an urgent search for a man who was reportedly assaulted and forced into a vehicle. The incident took place around 12.15pm on Monday near Llewellyn Street flats in Pentre. Two people, a 55-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, have since been arrested in connection with the case in Aberdare. Both suspects are currently in police custody.
The victim, described as Asian, slim, with a beard, and wearing a hooded top, has not yet been identified. Authorities are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the man being put into a grey Vauxhall Astra, which fled towards Ton Pentre and Tonypandy. Detective Inspector Steve Jones stated that enquiries are ongoing, including house-to-house visits and CCTV reviews in the area.
