A 20-year-old man is facing charges of attempted murder following a stabbing incident at the Notting Hill Carnival. Shakiel Thibou from Hammersmith, West London, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday for attempted murder, violent disorder, and possession of an offensive weapon. The Metropolitan Police have also charged his two brothers in connection with the same incident. Sheldon Thibou, 24, faces charges of violent disorder, possession of a stun gun, and assaulting an emergency worker. Shaeim Thibou, 22, has been charged with violent disorder and assaulting an emergency worker. The victim, a mother, is in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in Golborne Road, Ladbroke Grove, when she was caught in a confrontation between two groups of men at the carnival with her child.
The violent incident occurred at the Notting Hill Carnival over the weekend, leading to the charges against the three brothers involved.
