A tragic incident on the roads has resulted in the death of an 85-year-old man more than a week after a collision in Gwynedd. The man was a passenger in a vehicle involved in the crash on the A487, near Garndolbenmaen. The collision occurred on September 22 when a red Vauxhall Insignia and a red Honda Jazz collided at the junction of A487 turning onto the B4411 from Glandwyfach. The man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, where he sadly passed away. Another passenger from the Insignia sustained minor injuries and was taken to Ysbyty Alltwen in Porthmadog.
