Reindeer Lodge is back and more magical than ever for the 2024 Christmas season. The picturesque reindeer farm in Mold, north Wales, will be opening five themed areas and a whole host of fun festive activities. In Cardiff, the New Theatre has announced their Christmas pantomime will be Cinderella, running from Saturday, December 7, 2024, to Sunday, January 5, 2025. Welsh TV presenter Gethin Jones will star as Prince Charming, alongside other talented performers. Other pantomimes include Dick Whittington in Newport, Jack and the Beanstalk in Swansea Grand, and Santa’s Toy Mine at Rhondda Heritage Park Museum, where visitors can explore an underground toy mine to find Santa.
The Muppets Christmas Carol is coming to Swansea this Christmas, with a live musical score performance alongside the 1992 film screening. Gower Fresh Christmas Trees light trail, The Holiday film with a live orchestra, Hamilton at Wales Millennium Centre, and the Hay Festival Hay-on-Wye Winter Weekend are other festive events to look forward to.
