Nearly 50 supercar owners came together to fulfil the final wish of a young boy named Aiden Cox, who tragically passed away at the age of nine. Aiden, who had been battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a common childhood cancer, had always dreamed of sitting in a supercar but didn’t get the chance before his untimely death.
The community rallied behind Aiden’s family after a charity appeal was made to create a special tribute for the young boy. Dreams and Wishes, a local charity that grants wishes to seriously ill children, organised a convoy of supercars to accompany Aiden on his final journey through his hometown of Blackwood. The procession, consisting of nearly 50 supercars from both the local area and beyond, made its way through Blackwood High Street to the crematorium, passing by Aiden’s junior school along the route.
