George Newton, who passed away on September 25, has left his family and friends in deep sorrow. Hailing from Lampeter and residing in Aberystwyth for the past few years, George had established his own gardening business, showcasing his passion for the outdoors.
His friend, Elis Kenney, spoke on behalf of George’s family, praising him as a devoted individual who always had a smile on his face and a penchant for cracking jokes. George’s caring nature extended to his love for animals and his constant endeavour to uplift those around him. Despite his young age, George had dabbled in various professions before discovering his passion for gardening.
The youngest of four siblings, George’s warm and welcoming personality endeared him to both students and locals in Aberystwyth. His friends have created memorials in his honour, reflecting on the cherished moments they shared with him. A humanist funeral was recently held for George, serving as a poignant reminder of the impact he had on those around him.
