On the road closures front, here is a list of roads across Wales affected by ongoing roadworks on Saturday morning:
– A465 in both directions is closed at Cefn Coed, Merthyr Tydfil, causing delays due to weekend roadworks until early Monday morning
– M4 Prince of Wales Bridge in both directions in Monmouthshire near Bristol has a lane closed for resurfacing work, with contraflow in place until October 17
– A497 in both directions at Minffordd, Gwynedd, is closed for roadworks till December 25, 2026
– A4054 Upper High Street in both directions in Cefn Coed, Rhondda, Cynon, Taff, is closed for long-term roadworks
– A4047 King Street in both directions in Brynmawr, Blaenau Gwent, is closed for water main work
– A4061 Rhigos Mountain Pass in both directions in Rhigos, Rhondda, Cynon, Taff, is closed for long-term roadworks
