Local residents, school children, and councillors gathered on Friday, October 4, for the official re-opening of the park, showcasing new features such as a community garden, benches, exercise equipment, and a chess table. Janzib Alyas, a resident near the park, described the previous state as chaotic, with incidents of screaming, shouting, and bottles being thrown late at night. Now, the area is being praised as “brilliant” and a vast improvement from its troubled past.
