A couple from south Wales has been removed from an easyJet flight by police following allegations of engaging in a sexual act just minutes after takeoff. Bradley Smith and Antonia Sullivan admitted to a charge of outraging public decency when they appeared in Bristol Magistrates’ Court. Reports suggest that Sullivan placed clothes on Smith’s lap and performed a sexual act while on a crowded flight from Tenerife to Bristol. Other passengers reported their behaviour, leading to police meeting the plane upon landing at Bristol Airport.
Smith has been ordered to complete 300 hours of community service, while Sullivan, a full-time care worker, received a 270-hour community service order. The couple, from Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, were also instructed to pay £100 compensation each to three individuals on the flight who witnessed the incident. An easyJet spokesperson confirmed that the flight to Bristol was met by police due to the behaviour of the two passengers.
