A woman has shared her harrowing experience after a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure went terribly wrong, resulting in sepsis. The unnamed patient underwent a BBL with hyaluronic acid filler injection, which led to serious complications. Within six days, she was rushed to A&E due to a major haematoma caused by the practitioner accidentally injecting a vein, leading to sepsis. Doctors informed her that if she hadn’t arrived at the hospital promptly, she might not have survived.
The woman described her condition upon reaching the hospital as serious, with doctors confirming sepsis and the need for immediate surgery. After spending two weeks bed-bound in the hospital, she was left with lopsided and sagging buttocks due to the procedure. The filler had even seeped into her leg, resulting in another infection and additional hospitalization. The surgeons had to remove all the filler, leaving her disfigured.
