Scott Davies, aged 33, and Helen Booth, aged 41, first encountered each other in 2009, when Scott was a student at Barclay School sixth form in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and Helen was his PE teacher.
Their paths crossed again in 2022 in Stevenage, leading to a blossoming romance. Scott proposed to Helen in August 2024 on a beach in Ibiza, surrounded by a crowd of 200 onlookers. The couple now resides together in Shefford, Bedfordshire, and is set to tie the knot next year. I never would have thought I’d marry my ex-teacher, but we are very happy together.”
