Rachel Reeves, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, has pledged to work towards closing the gender pay gap, strengthening rights at work, and investing in childcare. In an effort to support female entrepreneurs, Reeves announced the Government’s endorsement of the Invest in Women Taskforce, which aims to establish a funding pool exceeding £250 million for businesses founded by women.

In celebration of International Equal Pay Day, the Chancellor is hosting a reception for female business leaders from diverse sectors at Number 11 Downing Street.
