Woman sent mum picture of cattle moments before cow trampled her to death

An inquest is being held into the tragic death of Rebekah Morris, a 29-year-old woman from Littlethorpe, Leicestershire, who was fatally trampled by a cow while walking her dog in a field. The incident, which occurred on the evening of July 9, 2022, has left the community in shock.

Prior to the incident, Rebekah had sent a picture of the cattle in the field to her mother, indicating she may have been aware of the animals in the vicinity. However, minutes later, she stopped responding to messages, prompting her parents to search for her in the field shown in the photo.
