Britain’s Got Talent is set to make a return to ITV with a star guest judge joining the panel. Social media sensation KSI will step in as a guest judge, filling in for Bruno Tonioli on several audition days. The 18th series of the talent show will see judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI taking their places on the panel.
KSI, also known as Olajide JJ Olatunji, expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “When I got the call-up, I couldn’t believe it. I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my arse off.” He will be judging on three audition days, starting in Blackpool this month, while Tonioli is tied up with filming commitments in the US.
Tonioli, who replaced David Walliams on BGT, shared his support for KSI, saying, “I can think of no one better to keep my seat warm than the wonderful KSI.” The former Strictly Come Dancing judge expressed his eagerness to return to the panel for another season of entertainment.
The news of KSI’s guest judging role comes after Sydnie Christmas was crowned the winner of the show earlier this year, earning a £250,000 prize and a slot at the Royal Variety Performance. Fans can anticipate another season of laughter, tears, and extraordinary talent as Britain’s Got Talent gears up for its 18th series on ITV.
